Raised in Ise-Shima, Japan, the birthplace of Akoya cultured pearls, Maiko Makito never imagined pearls would become her life’s mission. After building a corporate career in Singapore, she chose to continue her family’s legacy at Pearl FALCO, while remaining based overseas.
Through this journey, she discovered that every pearl carries a story of nature, craftsmanship, and human connection. Today, she is dedicated to helping people understand and appreciate the true value of pearls beyond certificates, grades, and trends.
