Our Akoya Pearl Discovery afternoon was one such occasion.
On behalf of Pearl FALCO, I would like to extend my deepest and most heartfelt appreciation to everyone who joined us on 22 August 2026 at our gallery at OUE Downtown Gallery. Your presence brought warmth and elegance to the afternoon, and made this gathering far more meaningful than we could have imagined.
Pearls have always carried a special place in our hearts. They are created quietly beneath the sea, layer by layer, over time. They cannot be rushed. Their beauty is not simply something that appears at first glance — it is something that reveals itself gradually, through light, lustre, colour, shape and the story behind each piece.
In many ways, we believe this is also what makes pearls so deeply connected to life.

An Afternoon of Discovery
During our gathering, we had the pleasure of sharing the fascinating world of Japanese Akoya pearls — from understanding their unique characteristics to learning how to choose pearls with greater confidence.
But beyond the technical knowledge, what we truly hoped to create was an experience.
An experience where our guests could slow down for an afternoon, appreciate the details, ask questions freely, discover different ways of wearing pearls, and perhaps see these timeless gems from a new perspective.
Pearls are sometimes thought of as something reserved for formal occasions or important milestones. Yet pearls can be so much more.
They can accompany us to work.
They can travel with us.
They can become part of a quiet afternoon with friends.

And, perhaps most importantly, they can become a reflection of the woman wearing them.
We were especially delighted to share styling inspirations for work, travel and special occasions, showing how Akoya pearls can move effortlessly through different chapters of a woman’s life.

At Pearl FALCO, our relationship with pearls goes beyond jewellery.
Our roots are connected to Japan and Ise-Shima, a region deeply associated with the cultivation of Akoya pearls. Behind every pearl is patience, craftsmanship, nature and generations of knowledge.
That heritage is something we feel privileged to share with our guests here in Singapore.
For us, educating someone about pearls is not simply about explaining grades, sizes or lustre. It is about helping them understand why one pearl speaks to them more than another.
