Maiko also introduced the broader pearl world, offering insights into South Sea and freshwater pearls to help guests understand quality, longevity, and value with clarity and transparency. Guests gained clarity on quality indicators such as lustre, nacre layers, tone, and surface characteristics, discovering what truly differentiates exceptional pearls from commercial-grade pieces.
